I still haven't read any Duncan Kyle, y'know, or Desmond Bagley, although I have books by both waiting in the wings. The great thing about Jeremy – apart from his novels, obviously – is he's a mine of information about neglected thriller writers; there's at least one author he mentions in the Q&A that I hadn't even heard of, and a few more that I'm only just starting to explore. But yes, I'd give Free Agent a go if I were you. Also, nice to see Desmond Bagley, Duncan Kyle and of course the great John Christopher get mentioned!<br /><br />Duns seems like a really cool guy. Sounds like his work is continuing and developing a British fictional spy heritage that had been fading out for a bit. Glad to see he is part of a possible resurgence.
