I originally read it in an unremarkable Penguin edition, one which didn't even bear Christopher Hitchens's fine introduction. In fact, an edition with that in might be one to seek out instead.Nick Jones (Louis XIV, the Sun King)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17716508525331235684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5448581132479481740.post-31289336137166533622013-03-05T19:28:49.992-05:002013-03-05T19:28:49.992-05:00I love novels about journalism and I am embarrasse...I love novels about journalism and I am embarrassed to say I have never read Scoop. You never know, though. But anyway: in any edition, it's a splendid novel, and still relevant today; I linked a NYT piece in the second paragraph of my review which explains why.Nick Jones (Louis XIV, the Sun King)https://www.blogger.com/profile/17716508525331235684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5448581132479481740.post-13527121779126837742013-03-05T05:13:34.627-05:002013-03-05T05:13:34.627-05:00Great find, Nick! I didn't know early Penguin Books carried advertisements. This book might not be so hard to find in a used bookstore here.Prashant C.
